HOT SHOT COWL
The Hot Shot Cowl is the perfect introduction to the Faux Brio stitch (aka Fisherman’s Rib)! This crazy fun stitch produces the same fabric as the traditional Brioche stitch but without all the brking and brping. Simply knit or purl into the stitch below and watch the magic happens!
This cowl combines a ribbed section with a knit section in the round to easily get you familiar and comfortable with this highly addictive stitch.

SLIP AND SIP COWL
Needing something to keep me warm on a trip to Tahoe, I grabbed my favorite super bulky yarn, Sequoia from Baah yarn, and since it was Valentines weekend I just had to use the My Sweet Valentine colorway!!! After two short flights and a drive south, I was binding off. While my husband was up on the slopes, I was staying warm and enjoying a cold drink and a walk to the beach!
This pattern is adaptable to any weight yarn. Just add or subtract in multiples of 5!
