Boot Scootin' boogie
Kick up your heels with the Boot Scootin’ Boogie Shawl, a spirited nod to Nashville’s iconic cowgirl charm. This design brings together the perfect mix of soft texture, romantic elegance, and playful movement—just like a night on the dance floor at your favorite honky-tonk. The shawl’s flowing triangular shape features a bold ruffle feature, intertwining with delicate vine lace reminiscent of wildflowers reflected in many boot patterns and capturing the energy of line-dancing boots skimming across a wooden floor. Crafted with a design that balances softness and structure, the Boot Scootin’ Boogie Shawl is perfect for draping over a western dress or layering with denim for a true Nashville vibe. Whether you’re dancing under string lights or watching the sunset, this shawl lets you two-step in style.

Grand Ole Purl
Step onto the stage of stitches with The Grand Ole Purl, a show-stopping shawl that blends rhythmic lace with striking mosaic motifs, echoing the harmony of Nashville’s legendary music scene. Inspired by the iconic Grand Ole Opry, this design sings with rich textures and flowing movement, just like a timeless country ballad. A collaboration with The Traveling Yarn Yogi for the very first Nash Yarn Fest, this design is a tribute to fiber-loving free spirits, road trips, and the creative rhythm that binds music and knitting together. Accidentally in Love
When I first stumbled upon Judy & Emily’s Jems Luxe Fibers Booth at last year’s SoCal Fiber Fair, I couldn’t resist snatching up a couple of skeins of their Yak fingering yarn. The colors were impossibly deep and rich, and the yarn had this irresistible sheen that practically called my name. It was pure, shiny, luscious temptation! Fast forward to this year—I realized I’d be out of the country for the next SoCal Fiber Fair. Panic! What to do? But as I wound up that yak yarn, I knew one thing for sure: simplicity was the way to go. What I didn’t expect was just how magical that simplicity would be. The texture and drape were beyond anything I could have imagined! Pairing such an exquisite yarn with a straightforward stitch pattern turned out to be a stroke of genius, and the texture that emerged was an unexpected delight—like discovering a secret hidden inside each stitch.

Buffalo Plaid
ntroducing the Buffalo Check Bliss Shawl! Fall vibes meet timeless style in this beautiful creation. The classic buffalo check pattern takes center stage, creating a chic and warm accessory for the season. Designed with simplicity in mind, this shawl is not only a breeze to knit but also promises a stunning and stylish shawl – because knitting should always be as fun as the finished piece! This shawl starts with the traditional knitting method for 10 rows then switches to the Slide and Turn method throughout ending at the final two rows. When you work the Buffalo Check Stitch Pattern, you either “slide” or “turn” the work at the end of each row. “Slide ” means to slide stitches to the right end of the circular needles. Without turning the work, start the new row as you normally would. “Turn“ means to flip the work around so the opposite side is facing you as in traditional knitting. This is a charted pattern
