Backsplash is a fun triangle shawl knit sideways and filled with texture. The design plays with simple elegant chevrons mimicking my very own new backsplash!
 
This new shawl is from the suggestion of one of my test knitters- Purlificknitter. I chose Malabrigo Mechita, a yarn she uses frequently, to perfectly match and elevate this design.
 
Backsplash was designed after the beautiful part of my home remodel a “6 to 8-week job” – which is finally complete after the 20th week!!! YAY!!!!
 
Although simple to make, the finished result is quite stunning. An easy textured stitch pattern allows using any kind of yarn. Try it with speckled, semi-solid, gradient, yarn with shorter or longer color changes - even choose variegated yarn for this pattern.
